High Performance Cement Based Waterproof Vapor Barrier

Introduction:

Techno ROLLCOAT WR is elastomeric (flexible cement base) acrylic modified waterproof coating for roofs and wet areas to prevent substrate from water attack.

Properties:

• Waterproof, suitable for roofs and water retaining structure and basements.

Surface Preparation:

Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material, oil, grease, corrosion deposits or algae. Where breaking out is not required, roughen the surface and remove any laitance by light scrabbling or grit-blasting. out is not required, roughen the surface and remove any laitance by light scrabbling or grit-blasting.

Method to Use:

Techno ROLLCOAT WR should be a mechanically powered mixer or drill fitted with suitable paddle to ensure proper mixing, mix 10.2 kg of Techno ROLLCOAT WR liquid with 20.8 kg Techno ROLLCOAT WR powder, mixing time should be continued for 3 minutes until a uniform consistency is obtained. The mixed material should be brushed well into the surface, when the material begins to drag, don’t add any water, but dampen the surface again. The second coat shall be applied by brush in a similar way to the first layer. All tools should be cleaned immediately after finishing by clean water; hardened material should be cleaned mechanically.

Shelf Life:

One year when stored under normal condition and temperatures 5 – 50 °C.

Fire:

Techno ROLLCOAT WR is non – flammable.

Cautions:

Techno ROLLCOAT WR may cause irritation to skin or eyes. In case of accidental with eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water at least 10 minutes and seek medical advice if necessary.
